15th May 2025| We have always heard about reno/ID nightmares prior to our first home reno and was very careful in selecting our reno firm and ID. ID: Kent Eh Project manager: Justin On the first meeting in our unit, Kent gave us the vibe that he knows his stuff and is not afraid to share his point of views or thoughts as an ID on ideas that my husband and I may have. But he puts it across as those are only his suggestions whereby my husband and I will still have the ultimate say as it’s our house and it must be done in the way we like it. He also paid very close attention to what we wanted and is SUPER efficient when it comes to replying messages before and after we engaged him (replies within minutes whether it’s 3pm or 3am) as well as getting the physical work done when the reno commenced. Our reno journey has been nothing short of amazing! My husband and I are pretty hands on in the reno journey so whenever there was a feedback or request from us, Kent and Justin have never brushed us off but instead get it done/fixed almost immediately like the next day or day after. Their efficiency is off the charts and we truly appreciate it because this made our reno process very smooth with almost no delays. Their team of workers (tilers, carpenters, partition guys, etc) were all also really professional and accommodating, always open to our feedback and requests. We cannot thank them enough. Kent and Justin, along with their team, made our dream home come true and our first reno experience very pleasant. We are thankful that Kent and Justin were recommended to us and that we entrusted our reno journey to them. And we will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an ID and project manager!

9th March 2025 | Designer: Leon Teh (Space Atelier) Based on our personal experience, we highly recommend Leon for his professionalism, patience, and integrity throughout our home renovation journey. Even before we signed, Leon was responsive, patient with our many questions, and amended our 2D layout multiple times without complaint. That early commitment gave us confidence in his character and work ethic. Leon is someone who takes ownership. When a measurement miscalculation occurred, he took full responsibility and absorbed the cost. When the kitchen countertop had an issue, he investigated thoroughly, admitted the defect, and offered to rectify it. We also had some electrical points overcharged, which he quickly reviewed and corrected once we raised it. One major hiccup was a grout colour mismatch for the floor tiles. Leon didn’t push us to accept it—instead, he took ownership and redid the grout for the entire house. It was a very dusty and messy process, but we appreciated his integrity in doing the right thing. Leon keeps discussions focused, is open to ideas, and helped us make informed decisions, especially when balancing design with practicality. He worked closely with our tiler to make our preferred shower kerb design happen, even when it initially seemed unfeasible. Pricing is on the higher side, but the outcome reflects the value. Leon was upfront about electrical costs and provided a full price list when asked. Transparency like this helped us trust the process.

17 Mar 2025 | Renovation experience with Space Atelier was a detailed and earnest one. Kent met up with me to go through my requirements and past quotations that I have got but being a 1st time homemaker, I wasn't sure of what to look out for and how to renovate in a practical way that won't burn a big hole in my pocket. Along the way, Kent guided me on every process and phase of the renovation, even preempting me on many blind spots that previous home makers may have met. Even though mine was just a small 2 room flat, Kent treated this project the same like any others and is always responsive to my queries and rectifications in my home issues. To conclude, Kent and Irwin are a great team to rely and count on if you require a trustworthy home ID to take care of the arduous renovation journey!

22 July 2019 | Firstly I would like to thanks my ID Vesna for her hard work and guide us through the whole renovation process. This lady very Tok Gong (Very power), she will come up to my new house almost everyday (Almost means her off day she never come la) to update and take photo/video of the progress. When I discuss some idea with her about what I wanna do, she will tell me whether it can blend in to the concept nicely. Mostly importantly even after renovation is completed and all payments are paid, she will still ask her guys to come up for paint touch up and also change electrical stuff. From the conceptualisation process till fruition, Henry was friendly, patient and attentive to detail. While we shared what we had in mind, he took the initiative to propose ideas that he thought might suit our concept, which we gladly accepted. During the process, he was prompt to reply any queries we had and was very accommodating towards our requests. 12 June 2019 | Overall, the renovation journey was a pretty smooth one. The brief was a modern home with clean lines and quality finishes. It was completed within the planned timeline of 8 weeks and on budget. We are most impressed with Jeff’s dedication to the project as he spends a lot of time on-site to monitor the progress and quality of the work done. He was also able to pull his team together to resolve any issues very quickly so we had the peace of mind that the renovation was on track. Jeff pays attention to details and is always patient to explain the pros and cons of each design. He was prompt in all the follow-ups and very responsive to our questions. The workmanship was good in general, especially the carpentry. 29 May 2019 | My hubby & i met up with several IDs before we came across Space Atelier Facebook Page. Browsing thru all their completed project, we decided to meet up with them for quotation..Sent enquiries thru their fb messenger & was assigned to Yang Hann. Whoohoo!! Its the ID whose completed project give us the feel tat we must look for them for quotation de~ his design & combination of colours is just what we are looking for..Before our 1st meetup with Yang Hann, was told tat his colleague will meet & assist us instead due to some emergency issue. Having heard this, my hubby ask me to cancel the meetup.. you guys can imagine 他的design 有多好看和特别吧。My hubby ONLY wan to meet him to discuss for our new home😅.. Therefore, he rearrange another meetup with us..We told him what we “wants” & was quite impressed with his ideas. Before the quotation is out & before decided to engage him as our ID, he still keep answer to all my enquiries like buying what type of track lights nice la.. Our ceiling should buy how many inch ceiling fan la etc..Although his quotation is not the cheapest among the rest tat we went to,but we decided to sign with him as we believe 他一定能够把我们的新家弄到美美的.. Before the reno start, 三更半夜 if i happen to came across any ideas, i will whatsapp him & he will patiently tell me the pros & cons..Ta-dah, our house reno just completed last month & its just soooooo 👍🏻👍🏻 We could like to say : Thank you so much Yang Hann!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 Look for him is NEVER wrong

13 April 2019 | Having met with a few interior designers, Jeff was someone who was very accommodating to our requirements and would also give us a lot of advice and we felt very comfortable with him. Knowing that we had a baby coming soon, Jeff ensured that the renovation was done in double quick time, but did not compromise on the standards of the renovation. 12 March 2019 | Like many new house owners, my wife & I have our dream home in mind and set to find the Interior Designer who is creative in his design. Through our extensive search for renovation companies, Space Atelier stood out among the rest with Jeff handling our consultation.I knew it will be a massive overhaul from the onset given that we wanted to replace everything including hacking down our guest room walls. Jeff worked with us to develop a design that suited our lifestyle and tastes. Admittedly, we took longer than most to decide on what we wanted but Jeff patiently shared insights and it paid off as that has given us exactly what we've been having in mind for our house. The whole renovation process is so much easier with Jeff and his assistant Leon around, they helped to manage and coordinate the renovation work and deliveries when we can’t make it over.He was not a yes-sir person, he would consider the essential basic need, necessity, the want, the harmony, basically in sync with things that I value the most in designing a home.Our house really turns out like the 3d design that was shown to us. We have received so many compliments from our family members and friends.As with any renovation, hiccups are inevitable, but we soon realized that he readily came with solutions to help resolve them and put us at ease. We are also appreciative of him following up and accommodating our schedule when arranging his contractors to rectify the defects after handing over.Thank you Jeff & Leon and a job well done.

11 Mar 2019 | Months overdue, but here is my review on Space Atelier, project lead by Yang Hann. I came across Space Atelier while looking for ideas for my own renovation through Qanvast. While Yang Hann was not the first to contact me, what really impressed me was his fast responses and quick follow-ups. What I liked was that everything was upfront and clear. If he couldn’t meet the deadline or something couldn’t be done, he would voice out. The pricing was clear - everything was itemised, so when I changed my mind on an item after signing the contract, the final bill was amended accordingly. There were useful suggestions, but no hard selling of ideas, although there were parts of the renovation in which I wished I listened to him. The quotation is not the cheapest, largely due to a GST charge. That saying, it is reasonable, since it came with Blum hinges and good service. “The course of true love never runs smooth” says Shakespeare, neither does any renovation. There were various hiccups (drainage pipes in the way, wash basin which was too small and had to be changed, kitchen-living room pass through window had to be larger, just to name a few), but Yang Han was flexible with the changes. I am not the easiest customer that says ‘Yes’ to everything. One of the more uncommon requests that I had was to have my kitchen sink flushed with the kitchen countertop, something that iQuartz offered with its Hachi sink. But I didn’t want a Hachi sink as I found it too deep. Instead, I bought my own kitchen sink which I researched could be flushed (Blanco) and got it to install for me. It is not as straight-forward was they had to take to sink and cut the countertop to the correct depth. There was an additional charge for this, it was communicated clearly. No regrets for paying that bit of extra - no unsightly algae growth on the silicon. You can barely see the silicon. A special shout-out to his sub-contractors too - especially to his carpenters and plumbers. The carpenters worked till late to get the job down (10 pm!) and even came by on Saturdays. The clean-up was quite well-done too.I was not impressed by the tilers though, the pace was unnecessarily slow.Now comes the real test, some touching up has to be done before the year is up. Let’s see how they response.

He is very experienced and were able give us a lot of useful tips which help us to save time and money. He put in extra effort in ensuring things are run smoothly. 19 Jan 2019 | If only we can give a “6 stars” review - there is no word to describe how thankful we are to our ID, Ryan Foo from Space Atelier. He has proven and surpassed our expectation with his excellent project management skills, creativity and artistic flair. Ryan has his qualification in interior design with very good sense of space layout, design and able to give us the best recommendation. As we are busy working, we always have to exchange notes with Ryan late night. He is very responsive. We even have discussion after working hours to align on the design details till late night. Ours is a resale condo with super tight renovation schedule. Ryan is very committed to make sure the handover is on schedule. He is on-site everyday to monitor the progress. He helps us to coordinate and receive the delivery of our furniture, electrical appliances and installation. He even made the extra efforts to accompany us to JB to help us to choose the lighting and curtain. We have high expectation on the workmanship and we must praise the main carpenter team who really did a fantastic work! The outcome is actually better than the 3D drawing! Thanks to Ryan, we find our home design appealing. Returning to a nice cozy resort style home everyday! We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

10 Jan 2019 | I'v had heard of horror stories from friends about IDs who did not lie up to their promises or doing shoddy work or worse, some even left the work undone despite taking all the money. So when i was searching for an ID, i was very careful in choosing the right one. And also this is my first house so i wanted to make sure everything is perfect. I was highly recommended to Jonathan by a friend. So i was more confident in choosing him. From the beginning, i can tell that he is very professional, and committed to making my dream pad come true. He listened to what i want and also gave his input from his experience. He was also very patient in going through the whole design process including choosing the right tiles, fittings, colour etc. We didn't take long to come up with a winning design that both of us love and yet within my budget. During the reno phase, he was always updating me of the progress and he ensured that everything ran smoothly. Giving me a peace of mind and not having to worry about anything. When any issues came up he promptly alerted me and we made quick decisions to allow the reno to move forward.I was also rushing him for the reno as i wanted to move in just before Hari Raya. And he actually made sure i could do that. I was very impressed. And he did that without compromising the quality of the work. The final work was more than impressive. It turned out better than what i saw in the 3d design. The workmanship was excellent. A few touch ups here and there also was handled swiftly and smoothly by Jonathan. And i even managed to have a few little add-ons to the design.Overall i was more than impressed by Jonathan and his team. He is highly recommended for anyone who wants to realise their dream house.

30 Dec 2019 | Came across Jeff’s designs on Facebook and took a leap of faith in engaging him and Ryan for an old unit that required a complete overhaul. The results surpassed my expectations! It came out exactly as the visual designs and I must say that both were very patient throughout the whole journey. They took time to understand my requirements and also gave good ideas in materials selection. Jeff is also very experienced and took effort to go through all the details, from lighting and switch placements to water and aircon piping layouts to solutions on layout issues.
